New Cartridge for Your Printer

Buying a new cartridge for your printer every time you run out of ink can burn a hole in your pocket. A much better option is to fill your cartridges on a printer refill shop or at home using an ink refill kit. Not only is this cheap, but it also prevents cartridge chips, sponge and plastic windows to get wasted.

In principle, all printer cartridges ink jet filled with the same instructions with slight variations depending on the manufacturer and model number of your printer. You can use the help of the Internet for locating individual models for different ink colors to identify.

If you have a black cartridge, it usually has a single hole for the fill color cartridges while the majority have three or more holes. Moreover, as the different types of ink cartridges to use unique, be sure to purchase and use the correct ink that is specific to your inkjet cartridge.

If necessary, drill a hole. Now that you have ink and know where the holes in the cartridge, you must first cartridge from the printer. While doing this, make sure you do not mind the electrical components of the printer with your fingerprint or ink.

Place the cartridge in an area that will spill and remove the label from the top of the cartridge. You now have the hole in the cartridge to find the filling of black ink. If there is no hole, drill a new one with a finger tap.

Repeat with the color cartridges. After cleaning the cartridge with a soft top, replace the label at the top and, if necessary, the tape edges. Without contaminating the electrical contacts of the printer, slowly clean the underside of the cartridge with a cloth.

The next time you need the cartridge in the printer, and repeat the same steps with your color cartridge. Be sure to identify the correct holes on the respective color ink injection. Once you fill your color cartridges, install the printer as well.

Try a few test pages. Make sure you have all your spraying water or solvent that comes with the refill kit when you are filling your printer cartridges. Perform a test, or perhaps several cleaning cycles to ensure no spread of ink cartridges.
